Centad was invited by Rajiv Gandhi School of International Law, IIT Karagpur for a five day Capacity Building Programme on Geographical Indicators. Mr. Kumar Gautam, Associate Fellow, from Centad had participated as the resource person for this Training Programme, which was held at IIT, Bhubneshwar Campus from March 23-27, 2009.

Kumar Gautam made a presentation on “GI Protection Model” and delivered a lecture on “Economics of GI”

The participants were State Government officials of Department of Textiles, Boyanika, and (Handloom Cooperative of Orisa).
