Executive DIRECTOR, Centad

Centre for Trade and Development (Centad), an independent, not-for-profit organisation, that seeks to make markets work for development. It conducts real time empirical economic research leading to policy advocacy and capacity building of governments and communities in South Asia. South Asia Yearbook and Trading Up Quarterly Magazine are among its flagship publications.

Centad is currently recruiting for Executive Director to provide strategic leadership to the institution *  

Work Location: New Delhi

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

The ED will be responsible for developing and managing the Centre - including people management, programme co-ordination, overseeing resource mobilisation, advisory functions, and managerial function including monitoring and performance evaluation. S/he would also manage donor relationships including proper reporting and accountability . Facilitate an efficient team management and day-to-day operations of the office. Implement Centre's policies and procedures, including HR, Finance, Internal, external reporting requirements and compliance to statutory and legal requirements. Ensure that Centre's policies and procedures are sensitive to gender and diversity issues.

Qualification and Experience

The applicant should possess an advanced degree in management/ economics/ development studies and good policy research/management track record of not less than 5 years, preferably working in development organisation/research institutions/ government. Deputation for not less than 1 year could be considered for suitably qualified candidates.
