Release of South Asian Yearbook of Trade and Development 2006

Centad will release its second issue of the South Asian Yearbook of Trade and Development 2006, titled Multilateralism at Crossroads: Reaffirming Development Priorities, on March 14, 2007, at 7.30 pm at the Amaltas Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi . The yearbook will be released by S N Menon, former commerce secretary, Government of India.

The South Asian Yearbook of Trade and Development is an annual series of publications launched by Centad in 2005 with the primary objective of articulating debate on the developmental impact of trade through rigorous policy research and analysis. The Yearbook has a foreword by Ha-Joon Chang of the University of Cambridge, UK, and has an eminent panel of editors including B S Chimni, B L Das, Saman Kelegama and Mustifizur Rahman.

The volume comprises research papers on a range of trade and development issues, contributed by trade policy analysts and researchers from across South Asia . The South Asian Yearbook 2006 is being co-published with Wiley ( India ), an international publisher of repute.
