Centad and the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) are jointly organising a seminar on ‘Preferential Trade Agreements and textile and clothing (T & C) industry’, in Mumbai, India, on March 18, 2006.
India is currently engaged in several trade agreements, which will have far reaching effects on the industry, specially the textile sector. The seminar aims to help stakeholders understand the opportunities and challenges posed by such agreements and to take a long-term perspective of free trade agreements (FTAs) and preferential trade agreements (PTAs).
